Job Description

As an Automobile Sales Advisor, you will be at the forefront of our dealership, tasked with promoting and selling our range of vehicles. Your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets. You will interact with potential buyers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable automobiles that match their requirements. Being knowledgeable about the specifications, features, and the latest automotive trends will enable you to provide informed advice to clients. Additionally, you will assist with financing options and complete necessary paperwork efficiently. A successful Automobile Sales Advisor is also adept at building relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals, contributing to the growth and success of the dealership.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers to the dealership and understand their vehicle preferences and requirements.
  • Provide detailed information on available automobiles, features, and pricing options.
  • Conduct test drives and ensure customers experience the car's capabilities.
  • Negotiate car sales prices and financing options to close deals effectively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers for future sales.
  • Assist in processing sales paperwork and ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to offer informed recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of prospects and contact them regularly.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to handle payment plans and credit checks.
  • Prepare and deliver captivating presentations on vehicles and services offered.
  • Address and resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in automobile sales or a similar customer service role.
  • Strong understanding of automobile features, prices, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close sales with varying customer needs.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining customer focus.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software to track leads and sales activities.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to perform test drives with clients.
