As an Automation Testing Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the software products developed by our company are reliable and perform as expected. You will work closely with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test cases. Your expertise will help streamline our testing processes, enhance product quality, and enable fast and effective product rollouts. In this role, you will utilize various testing tools and methodologies to verify and validate the functionality of software components, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial as you identify defects, document results, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated testing frameworks and test scripts for software products.
• Collaborate with developers to understand the software architecture and design test strategies.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify software defects.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites and frameworks regularly.
• Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly, using effective tools and techniques.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and reliability of software components.
• Work closely with QA teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and issues to project teams effectively.
• Help develop test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Conduct test automation tool evaluations to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Support functional and performance testing efforts to ensure high software quality.
• Engage in troubleshooting and debugging activities as part of defect resolution processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts using various tools.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, or Jest.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is essential.
• Experience with continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins, is highly desirable.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum practices.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
