AutoCAD Draftsman 11D25

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman (11D25) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed CAD drawings for construction and manufacturing projects using the latest AutoCAD software. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work will ensure projects meet both client specifications and compliance standards. As a key member of our design team, your expertise will support the successful delivery of various projects, ranging from small-scale residential jobs to large industrial developments.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed CAD drawings from architectural and engineering notes and sketches.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to interpret project requirements accurately.
• Ensure that all drawings and blueprints are precise and compliant with industry standards.
• Modify existing drawings to update them according to revised specifications.
• Maintain documentation of all drawings and revisions for project records.
• Assist in the development of new design concepts and provide technical insights.
• Work on-site occasionally to measure and record data for the creation of new designs.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure optimal delivery of drawing services.
• Provide drafting assistance during project meetings and design reviews.
• Implement feedback from clients and stakeholders into draft revisions as necessary.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of work tasks.
• Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD features and drafting techniques.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting within a relevant industry.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD software for both 2D and 3D design work.
• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drawing standards and principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to strict deadlines.
