Job Description

The Associate - Supply Planning is responsible for ensuring efficient supply chain operations by managing the planning and procurement of materials and products. This role involves analyzing supply chain data, forecasting demands, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The Associate will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and minimize costs while maintaining high service levels. Their ability to anticipate issues, manage inventories, and work on process improvement initiatives is crucial for the success of the company. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage supply planning processes to ensure optimal supply levels.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and historical data to create accurate supply plans.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align supply chain strategies and objectives.
  • Evaluate supplier performance to ensure high-quality products and timely deliveries.
  • Develop inventory management strategies that minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans proactively.
  • Monitor and report on key supply chain performance metrics regularly.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Liaise with procurement teams to ensure best practices in supplier negotiation.
  • Manage discrepancies in supply chain processes and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all supply operations.
  • Work with IT teams to enhance supply chain data accuracy and system functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in supply planning, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using supply chain software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives.
