Apparel Merchandiser 2 Year Bond Contract

We operate in the Apparel & Fashion Retail sector, designing, sourcing, and delivering seasonal ready-to-wear collections for domestic and international markets. The role focuses on translating design concepts into commercially viable assortments, controlling costs, and ensuring on-time delivery across the product lifecycle.

This is an on-site merchandising role based in India focused on end-to-end product and vendor management for garment lines.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own seasonal assortment planning: define line architecture, SKU counts, pricing bands, and assortments to meet sales and margin targets.
• Create and maintain accurate tech packs, size charts, and production specifications; follow up with vendors to resolve pre-production queries.
• Manage vendor relationships: source suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, monitor lead times, and enforce quality and delivery standards.
• Perform costing and margin analysis to recommend cost-saving opportunities while protecting product integrity.
• Coordinate production follow-up and in-line inspections; drive corrective actions for quality, fit, and compliance issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, planning, inventory, and sales teams to optimize launch readiness and inventory flow.
