MONEYPLUS is Looking for:

Our client is MoneyPlus Financial Services Limited, an RBI-registered NBFC operating two consumer-facing brands — All About Money and Utharbox, a live digital lending app on the Google Play Store. The company is transitioning its Android product fully in-house, and this is an early-stage, high-ownership opportunity to shape the technical direction of a growing fintech product.

You will be the sole Android engineer on the team, inheriting the Utharbox codebase from the outgoing vendor with full handholding support during the transition. Day-to-day, you'll handle bug fixes, feature additions (referral system, SDK integrations, face-match, etc.), and Play Store management — working directly with the Product Head.

• Core ResponsibilitiesMaintain, debug, and enhance the live Utharbox Android app
• Add new features and integrations (referral system, third-party SDKs, face-match, etc.)
• Manage app releases, versioning, and Play Store listing end-to-end
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs
• Participate in codebase modernisation and architecture improvements over time
• Work within an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and technical roadmaps
• Must-Have RequirementsOwned and managed a live, production Android app end-to-end — not just contributed to one
• Hands-on Google Play Store publishing experience — app listing, versioning, and release management
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Experience integrating REST APIs in a live Android application
• At least some production exposure to Jetpack Compose
• Good to HaveExperience in fintech, digital lending, or NBFC/banking domain (CreditP, FatakPay, PaySense, KreditBee, etc.)
• Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines / Flow for async operations
• Knowledge of modern architecture patterns — MVVM or MVI
• Dependency injection experience (Hilt or Dagger)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise)
• Unit or UI testing experience (JUnit, MockK)
• Prior startup or early-stage company experience
