Responsibilities

• Install new air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in A/C systems.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure efficiency and safe operation of units.
• Replace or repair defective parts within air conditioning systems.
• Keep records of all maintenance and repair activities performed on systems.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support to customers over the phone.
• Evaluate customer needs and advise on appropriate system upgrades or replacements.
• Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations regarding refrigerants.
• Respond to emergency service requests to restore customer comfort promptly.
• Train new technicians on standard procedures and safety measures.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure workplace safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certificates in HVAC required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in air conditioning repair and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems and components.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions and support.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and work in harsh environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
