Geophysicist

Our Client In Southern Africa is looking for a Geophysicist to join their team immediately.

Responsibilities

Conduct and oversee geophysical surveys for gold and copper exploration projects

- Design and implement IP surveys using the latest equipment and software

- Analyze and interpret geophysical data to identify potential mineral deposits

- Collaborate with geologists and other team members to integrate geophysical data with geological information

- Provide technical guidance and support to field staff

- Prepare and present reports and presentations on geophysical findings to clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge and experience in gold and copper exploration

- Proven experience in conducting induced Polarization (IP) surveys

- Familiarity with field instrumentation and relevant software

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to travel and work in remote locations as required
