What We’re Looking For – Role Brief

We are looking for a talented and driven SEO Intern to join our growing marketing team. As an SEO Intern at Grexa AI, youll gain hands-on experience with real SEO strategies, work on live projects, and be part of a collaborative team focused on digital growth. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about SEO, content, and data — and eager to make a meaningful contribution while learning fast.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GBP) to improve local map rankings and visibility.
• Conduct local keyword research and competitor analysis for GBP and basic SEO opportunities.
• Optimize GBP elements including business descriptions, categories, services, products, photos, and posts.
• Assist in on-page SEO tasks such as optimizing meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content structure.
• Monitor GBP and website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and GBP Insights.
• Support review management strategies, including response optimization and sentiment analysis.
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to create SEO-friendly content, GBP posts, FAQs, and review responses through effective prompt engineering.
• Assist in building automation workflows for reporting, content creation, and GBP monitoring using tools like Google Sheets, Zapier, or similar.
• Collaborate with the SEO and content team to execute local SEO and content strategies.
• Stay updated with GBP updates, local SEO trends, algorithm changes, and AI advancements.
• Support the SEO team in daily tasks, audits, and special optimization projects.
  
  

• Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals, Google Business Profile, and local search.
• Familiarity with Google tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile.
• Strong interest in Local SEO, GBP optimization, and digital marketing.
• Strong curiosity and hands-on interest in AI prompting and automation.
• Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn fast, experiment with AI tools, and adapt in a startup environment.
• Must be based in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai and available to work from our Vashi office.
