About the Role

The Senior Production Engineer will be responsible for providing production support for the bank’s software applications. This includes resolving day-to-day production issues, performing root cause analysis, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring the reliability and continuity of application services. The role also involves documenting procedures, preparing recovery plans, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform testing and validation of production applications to ensure stability and performance.
• Design and maintain production support procedures, policies, and documentation.
• Prepare and update recovery procedures for all supported applications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues impacting production systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production errors and escalate critical concerns.
• Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure reliable application services.
• Manage code migration across environments to maintain synchronized functionality.
• Independently gather information, conduct research, and provide in-depth analysis to resolve production issues.
• Monitor system alerts and proactively address production application and system-related concerns.
• Prepare and communicate updates to senior management regarding production status and issues.
• Deliver regular and customized training sessions to internal teams on production support processes.
• Develop test scripts for new or modified production application capabilities.
• Capture and share best practices across the team to promote continuous learning.
  
  

• Stay updated on global market trends and competitor strategies in key technology areas.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage synergies and enhance operational efficiency.
  
  

• Graduation: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline.
  
  

• Proven experience in production support, application management, and incident resolution.
• Experience working in banking or financial services environments is preferred.
  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and incident management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with production monitoring tools and code migration processes.
