Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP MDG applications, including data models, user interfaces, and workflows using SAP standard frameworks.
• Develop technical designs for approval processes related to material creation, change, and deletion (single and mass), including BRF+ decision table configuration.
• Create BRF+ functions for derivation and validation rules; prepare development specifications for custom validations and derivations using cross-entity BAdIs.
• Extend the data model and modify UI FPM configurations to support business requirements.
• Transfer ERP customizing from existing ERP systems to MDG, including BC sets creation, transports, and manual corrections across MM, SD, QM, PM, and PP modules.
• Configure and manage material master data replication using ALE services and DRF, including partner profiles, distribution models, IDoc processing, monitoring, error handling, and analysis (via SOA Manager).
• Perform data migration for materials and related master data (e.g., characteristics, classes, MRP profiles, profit centers, etc.) using LSMW, IDoc, and S/4HANA Migration Cockpit tools (LTMC, LTMOM).
• Deduplicate, validate, and consolidate material master data using SAP Consolidation and Mass Processing (CMP).
• Conduct system testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and ongoing support to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging MDG and AI technologies to continuously enhance solutions.
  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of SAP experience, with at least 4 years in SAP MDG-M (Techno-Functional).
• Proven experience in at least 2 end-to-end SAP MDG implementations for Material Master.
• Experience working with PLM Teamcenter or catalogue integrations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MDG-M architecture, data modeling, process modeling, and configuration.
• Hands-on expertise in MDG rule-based workflows, BRF+, Data Quality Management (DQM), and Responsibility Management.
• Experience with data migration and data quality tools, preferably SAP Consolidation and Mass Processing (CMP).
• Solid understanding of data replication using SOA Services, ALE/IDocs via DRF+, and key mapping.
• Experience with tools such as eQube and SAP AIF is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori configuration.
