Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a fast paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a strong technical knowledge.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our networking team. In this role you will manage, secure, and optimize our complex network. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our on-premise infrastructure while supporting our growing cloud presence in Google Cloud (GCP) and Azure. You will be one of our subject matter experts for our firewalls, cloud networking, and performance monitoring systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Firewall Management: Configure, deploy, and maintain our Cisco Firepower
• Cloud Networking: Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure in Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure (VPCs/VNETs, load balancers, security groups, peering)
• Network Operations: Administer and optimize our Cisco Meraki stack (SD-WAN, wireless, switching)
• Web & Security: Manage web security, DNS, and CDN services using Cloudflare Advanced DDoS and other tools
• VPN: You will manage and maintain Sonicwall CSE and Cisco VPN
• Monitoring: Proactively monitor network health, performance, and security using SolarWinds
• Troubleshooting: Serve as one of the primary escalation points for complex network connectivity and performance issues
• Documentation: Create and maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation
  
  

• 3 - 5+ years of hands-on experience in a network engineering role
• Strong expertise in Cisco Firepower (policy, troubleshooting, deployment)
• Proven experience managing a Cisco Meraki full-stack environment
• Hands-on experience with network configuration and services in GCP and/or Azure
• Proficiency with SonicWall CSE and Cisco VPN
• Experience leveraging Cloudflare Advanced DDoS for web security and performance
• Demonstrable skill with network monitoring tools, specifically SolarWinds
• Deep understanding of core networking protocols and concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs)
  
  

• Security Tools: Experience with vulnerability management (Tanium) or endpoint security (Rapid7)
• Systems Background: A foundation in System Administration (Linux/Windows Server)
• Email Security: Knowledge of Proofpoint and email authentication standards like DMARC
• Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, cloud networking certs)
• Scripting: Ability to automate tasks using Python or PowerShell
