POSITION : SENIOR CONSULTANT/ CONSULTANT

REPORTING TO : MEDICAL DIRECTOR/ MEDICAL SUPRITENDENT/ CEO

QUALIFICATION : MD/DNB IN NEPHROLOGY WITH A VALID MEDICAL LICENSE

DUTY HOURS : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS

Job Description

Key areas of responsibility:

• Oversee all clinical services provided by the nephrology department, ensuring evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement treatment protocols for Nephrology department
• Develop strategies to enhance the efficiency and quality of nephrology services
• Mentor and provide educational opportunities for medical staff, residents, and fellows
• Support innovation in nephrology treatment methodologies and technologies.
• Organize conferences, workshops, and CME programs
• Act as the primary liaison between the nephrology department and other hospital departments.
• Build partnerships with external organizations, including research institutions and healthcare providers.
• Represent the department in professional forums, conferences, and public health initiatives.
• Supervise dialysis programs, renal transplant services, and other nephrology procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Implement quality assurance programs to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
