The Role:
The Project infrastructure consultant is a member of the Cloud Practice, supporting the delivery of Infrastructure solutions into customer environments. The role works closely with senior consultants and engineers to assist in implementing infrastructure projects.
They contribute to infrastructure transformation initiatives by assisting with solution implementation, documentation, and customer engagement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a modern solution.
Role Responsibilities
Managing onboarding and lifecycle administration of corporate desktops and iPads, including compliance policy application, device configuration, and endpoint management using Microsoft Intune.
Administering desktop configurations, software packaging, patch deployment, application updates, and operating system imaging/deployment activities across enterprise environments.
Maintaining and monitoring infrastructure health through System Center Operations Manager, including enabling/disabling monitoring rules, alert management, and performance oversight.
Performing onboarding, configuration, and monitoring of Dell physical server infrastructure using Dell Open Manage tools and utilities.
Managing virtual infrastructure environments including virtual machine provisioning, resource allocation, performance monitoring, maintenance, and administration of VMware platforms.
Administering enterprise backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes, including backup verification, recovery testing, and replication management.
Supporting user administration, licensing, mailbox management, collaboration services, and general Microsoft 365 platform operations.
Building, configuring, hardening, and deploying Windows Server 2022/2025 environments in accordance with organizational standards and security requirements.
Managing digital certificate creation, renewal, replacement, and maintenance to support secure authentication and service continuity.
Performing user provisioning, security group management, account maintenance, and directory administration within enterprise Active Directory environments.
Key Competencies and Qualifications Required:
Must have overall 3-5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, or Cloud Operations.
Mandatory certification: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate) or AZ-800 & AZ- 801 (Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate).
Hands-on experience with Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, including user provisioning, group management, RBAC, and MFA.
Experience in virtualization and infrastructure management, including VMware vSphere/vCenter, Hyper-V, virtual machines, storage, and networking fundamentals.
Exposure to server and endpoint management tools such as Intune, SCCM, SCOM, Veeam Backup and Microsoft 365 administration.
Strong understanding of Windows Server , DNS, DHCP, backup, and disaster recovery concepts.
Proven ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud-related issues effectively.
