Role Overview & Purpose

 

  • This role is a key position for Logistics vertical, responsible for delivering business impact across Global Aramex network.
  • This role utilizes data analytics approach & process door approach (Gemba) to identify opportunities and improve business
  • Deliver business impact through Business performance & Process improvement programs in Logistics
  • Engage in relentless pursuit of continuous improvement/transformation to create best-in-class supply chain assets
  • Focuses on immediate actions while parallelly building on mid-to long-term roadmap.
Job Roles & Responsibilities

 

Key Deliverables

  • Business Performance Programs - P&L Analysis & Cost analysis to identify opportunities  
  • Improvement Programs – Efficiency improvement & benchmark for all resources (Like - Facility, Human capital & equipment)
  • Driving asset-specific strategic improvement initiatives to deliver value to business.

 

People

  • Effectively collaborate with teams (Like - Operations, Finance, Commercial, Digital & HR) to create visibility and deliver value across Supply Chain
  • Engage with operations to implement solutions

 

Process

  • Recognizes and articulates implications of change or actions throughout the entire value stream (end to end)
  • Frequent Gemba / work site visits to understand, analyze and solve problems at point of occurrence
  • Deep dive on new trends & technology, design new solves/infrastructure, analyze/prepare business case on applicability to aramex & work with all stake holders to implement them.
  • Leverages on dashboards & process benchmarks to enhance business performance visibility
  • Communicates information to management, staff, and employees through dash boards.
Job Requirements - Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a must, master’s would be preferred
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience with a successful track record of driving Business / Process Improvement
  • Experience is a must in logistics and exposure in E2e supply chain would be add on
  • Data analytics certification with real world use case experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified with multiple business impact projects is a must. Six sigma black belt certified is preferred.
