Job Title - Quality Engineer - Electrical

Epiroc India is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Quality Engineer for the Nashik Plant. The role focuses on the quality of purchased parts and assembly, with Safety, Quality, and Efficiency as the core priorities. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Job Responsibility-

• Inspect and test electrical products and components to engineering drawings and specifications using inspection procedures and sampling plans as specified.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements for electrical products.
• Documentation and Reporting: Recording inspection results and maintaining documentation of tests, measurements, and non-conformance issues.
• Compliance Verification - Process Checks: Ensuring products adhere to regulatory and industry standards, such as ISO, customer specifications, or internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with design, production, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and implement quality control plans, FMEA, and root cause analysis for electrical systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools like Six Sigma and Kaizen.
• Digitalization in inspection area.
  
  

Competences, Skills And Experience-

• Minimum 5-7 years in Quality Function.
• Knowledge on Wiring Harness, Electrical Motors, Frequency Invertor, Electrical Cabinet, Panel wiring, LV Switchgear - MCCB, Contactor, Relay, Transformer, Electronics Parts etc
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Familiarity with quality tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA).
• Hands-on experience with testing instruments (Multimeter, insulation tester, etc.).
• Understanding of international standards (ISO 9001, IEC, RoHS).
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and quality management software.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
