Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering Executive to join our organization in Mysuru, India. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all engineering operations, drive strategic initiatives, and lead a talented team of engineering professionals. As an Engineering Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of all building systems, maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering department, establishing clear goals and performance metrics aligned with organizational objectives
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency
Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifecycle
Manage and mentor a diverse team of engineering professionals, fostering professional development, skill enhancement, and a collaborative work environment
Establish and maintain seamless coordination with all departments to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, and service delivery
Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and process improvement
Ensure strict adherence to all safety standards, statutory compliance requirements, and occupational health and safety regulations
Manage engineering budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation and controlling operational expenses without compromising quality
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for equipment servicing, repairs, and technological upgrades
Respond promptly to operational issues and customer concerns, implementing timely and efficient solutions to ensure satisfaction
Maintain transparent communication with senior management regarding departmental performance, challenges, and strategic recommendations
Stay abreast of technological advances in building systems, safety equipment, and engineering practices to drive innovation
Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a culture of safety and awareness across the engineering team
Support the organization's commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives
Qualifications
**Required Education:**
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Required Experience
Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in engineering operations and maintenance management
Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams in a corporate or industrial environment
Demonstrated experience in overseeing building systems, preventive maintenance programs, and equipment lifecycle management
Strong background in budget management, cost control, and resource optimization
Experience with cross-departmental coordination and stakeholder management
Required Skills & Competencies
Comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing infrastructure
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach
Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
