The Electrical Executive will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities
**Maintenance & Operations:**
Oversee and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all electrical installations, including power distribution systems, motors, control panels, lighting, and instrumentation.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, power outages, and equipment breakdowns, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Monitor the performance of electrical assets, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements for enhanced reliability and energy efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and company EHS policies.
Supervise and train junior electrical technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components and equipment.
**Project & Improvement:**
Participate in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including new installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, mechanical, EHS) to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall plant operations.
Implement energy conservation initiatives and identify opportunities for cost reduction through optimized electrical usage.
Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and project documentation.
Job Qualifications
**Education:** Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering
**Experience:** Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG sector.
**Technical Skills:**
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including high and low voltage distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment.
Familiarity with relevant electrical safety codes and regulations (e.g., IS standards, IEC).
