Hands-on Workday Integration Development: Candidate should have practical experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting Workday integrations.

Workday Studio: Hands-on Studio experience is preferred and should be clearly demonstrated.

Workday Integration Technologies: Good working knowledge of RaaS, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services/APIs, and different integration patterns.

Procurement Integrations: Experience with Workday Procurement integrations is important, including PunchOut/cXML integrations and related scenarios.

Production Support: Candidates should have experience supporting integrations in production, including incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, monitoring, failure recovery, and reprocessing.

Operational Mindset: We are looking for candidates who can independently analyze issues, proactively investigate failures, communicate with stakeholders/vendors, and drive issues through resolution.

Workday Functional Understanding: Candidate should have a good understanding of the Workday functional areas relevant to integrations, particularly Finance, Procurement, HCM, and related business processes. They should be able to understand functional requirements, Workday business processes, reports, calculated fields, security considerations, and how functional configuration impacts integrations. We are looking for candidates who can effectively bridge the gap between functional requirements and technical integration solutions, rather than having only technical integration knowledge.

Independence: Candidates should be comfortable owning integration issues end-to-end and should not be primarily dependent on functional/configuration teams for technical troubleshooting.
