Vice President

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Vice President – Real Estate Investments to lead and execute real estate investment opportunities from initial evaluation through acquisition and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in real estate investing, due diligence, financial analysis, and transaction execution, along with the ability to identify attractive opportunities and make data-driven investment decisions.

This role will work closely with senior leadership, investment partners, lenders, advisors, brokers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to evaluate and execute high-value real estate transactions. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with sound investment judgment and excellent relationship-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, evaluation, underwriting, and execution of real estate investment opportunities across relevant asset classes and markets.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence covering financial, operational, legal, commercial, market, property, environmental, and regulatory considerations.
• Develop and review detailed financial models, investment analyses, cash-flow projections, valuation models, return calculations, and sensitivity analyses.
• Assess acquisition opportunities based on investment strategy, risk-adjusted returns, market fundamentals, property performance, and long-term value creation potential.
• Lead investment committee materials, including opportunity assessments, investment memos, transaction recommendations, risk analysis, and return expectations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle, from sourcing and underwriting to negotiation, closing, and post-acquisition activities.
• Evaluate property-level financial statements, rent rolls, operating performance, capital expenditure requirements, debt structures, and other investment-related information.
• Monitor market trends, economic conditions, real estate fundamentals, comparable transactions, rental trends, and emerging investment opportunities.
• Support negotiations related to purchase prices, deal structures, financing, contracts, and other commercial terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, developers, investors, lenders, consultants, legal advisors, and other industry professionals.
• Identify risks and potential value-creation opportunities and provide clear recommendations to senior leadership.
• Contribute to portfolio strategy, asset performance reviews, refinancing opportunities, dispositions, and other strategic initiatives.

Must-Have Skills

• Real Estate Investing: Strong understanding of real estate investment strategies, acquisitions, valuation, underwriting, and transaction structures.
• Due Diligence: Proven ability to lead and manage comprehensive real estate due diligence processes.
• Real Estate: Strong knowledge of property markets, asset performance, market research, transaction processes, and real estate fundamentals.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis capabilities.
• Excellent commercial judgment and ability to assess risk versus return.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast-paced investment environment.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in real estate investing, private equity, investment banking, real estate acquisitions, asset management, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience evaluating and executing real estate investment transactions.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and external advisors on complex transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant advanced qualification is a plus.
