Background

DISCO is the in-house Design, Innovation, Strategy, and Creative Collaboration studio at Godrej Industries. We work across categories and disciplines, from brand creation and refreshes to product innovation, packaging, portfolio architecture, digital products, and experiences, blending intuition with intelligence and creativity with clarity.

About The Role

As part of the central Digital Product Design & Experience team at Godrej Industries Group, you will work across a wide range of projects including, B2B enterprise applications, B2C consumer products, corporate and business websites, and AI-driven platforms. This role sits at the intersection of visual craft, interaction design, and emerging technology to design intuitive, scalable, and visually refined interfaces including interaction patterns, motion systems, and design systems.

You will work closely with UX Designers, and cross-functional teams to create seamless and engaging digital experiences that balance usability and visual consistency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex UX challenges into thoughtful UI and interaction design solutions.

Experience

What We're Looking For

• 2 - 3 years of experience in UI Design, Interaction Design, or Visual Design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital product, UI, interaction, and motion design work.
• Experience working with design systems and component-based design approaches.
  
  

Education

• Degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Visual Design, or a related field.
• A postgraduate degree or relevant specialisation is a plus, not a prerequisite.
  
  

Skills

• Strong understanding of visual design and interaction design principles - typography, layout, visual hierarchy, states, transitions, feedback, and affordance.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern digital design workflows.
• Familiarity with motion and prototyping tools such as After Effects, Rive, Principle, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with or active curiosity about AI tools in design workflows
• Strong attention to detail and systems thinking.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of responsive design and modern digital product ecosystems.
• Bonus: Familiarity with front-end implementation and design-to-development workflows.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design engaging and user-friendly interfaces for digital products across web and mobile platforms.
• Create prototypes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity visual designs.
• Develop meaningful motion and micro-interactions that improve usability and product experience.
• Contribute to scalable design systems, reusable components, and visual consistency across products.
• Work closely with UX Designers to design intuitive, desirable and accessible digital experiences.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure smooth implementation and design quality.
• Conduct UI reviews and identify opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, and consistency.
• Prepare clean documentation and developer-ready design handoffs.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude and emerging technologies to improve workflows and creative exploration.
• Stay curious, adaptable, and updated with evolving design trends, tools, and digital experiences.
