About the role

Territory Manager – Anaesthesia is a dynamic sales role based out of Mumbai, that involves working in a complex clinical setting. The newly established sales team focuses on market development and education of KOLs to drive adoption of Fisher & Paykel humidification technology into the operating room environment.

You will be involved in promoting our humidification technology to improve care and outcomes in surgeries. Identifying and developing sites for evaluation of our products and developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in anaesthesia are critical to your success in this role. As a subject matter expert, you will provide education and high-level technical support to Anaesthetists to improve care and outcomes.


About you

You will need to have experience in procedural suite in Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy and theatre environment, be resilient, adept in having robust clinical discussions, adaptable and keen to develop your clinical and sales knowledge. Additionally, proven sales experience in a medical / clinical environment with a strong relationship building skillset will be a definite advantage.

You may be from a medical/nursing/technical background and have a strong desire to enter a sales environment, or you may already have some sales experience and can grasp and explain technical and clinical concepts. Either way, we will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this role. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales and territory management plans with the sales manager to achieve maximum market impact and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain relationships with customers and strategic partners within the territory
  • Identify potential hospitals and surgery centers through lead generation and strategic prospecting
  • Conduct customer visits to introduce FPH hospital products, therapy approaches, and their benefits
  • Serve as the product expert, providing in-serving and education to anaesthesiologists, physician specialists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Install and execute evaluations of FPH hospital products in the operating room and procedural suites with post-sales education and support
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts while securing new business opportunities


Education and work experience requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in capital equipment and consumables sales (experience in selling anaesthesia products would be an added advantage)
  • MSc (Nursing)/BE (Biomedical)/B Pharma/ Anaesthesia Technologist with an MBA (preferred) from an institute of repute
  • Valid India Driving License
  • Good Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Sales MIS
