Job Summary

You will drive end to end architecture of a cloud native learning ecosystem for a fortune 500 Automative OEM and it’s dealerships. You will work closely with business, IT, engineering, data and AI, cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps teams to drive the development of this new system from scratch.

Job Description (Role & Responsibilities)

• Refine target architecture for an AI driven Learning management ecosystem which leverages existing investments in CMS, LMS, data warehouse while introducing AI to accelerate the learning processes
• Create high level and low level designs covering microservices, storage, and integration patterns
• Guide teams on best practices for Java/Spring, Kafka, Aurora/RDS, and API Gateway implementations
• Guide team on appropriate use of AI/GenAI tools in SDLC and for Multi-modal content creation
• Own non functional requirements: performance, security, reliability, observability, and cost
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and ML teams to align schema, data contracts, and AI use cases
• Review code and designs, perform PoCs, and lead architecture governance.
  
  

Must Haves

• 12+ years in software development with at least 5 years on AWS based distributed systems
• Strong hands on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud microservices from the past
• Proven design of event driven systems using Kafka or similar streaming platforms
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling (Aurora/RDS, PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• At least one recent project with use of AI for SDLC and for Multi-modal content creation
• At least one Learning Management Ecosystem implementation experience
• Experience with xAPI, SCORM, LRS, ADL TLA or learning analytics platforms
• In dept understanding of GenAI based architecture, RAG, Observability tooling, Langflow, Langchain and similar frameworks
  
  

Preferred

• Exposure to Amazon Bedrock or other cloud AI/ML services.
• Background in secure B2B integrations (VPN, OAuth2/OIDC, TLS, VPC peering).
• Prior work in designing analytics/data platforms connected to CRM/LMS/DMS
• Prior experience with Automative industry in the learning management space
  
  

Good to Have

• Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional/Associate).
• Familiarity with IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform), service mesh and API management
• Experience in performance engineering and capacity planning for high throughput systems
• Strong mentoring skills and ability to run architecture workshops
