The Role

Reporting to the Director, Product – OpenData, India, the Team Lead Operations – OpenData India will manage and support the Data Stewardship team responsible for maintaining the quality of the India OpenData offering within the APAC region.

In addition to leading the team, you will also perform Data Steward responsibilities, including researching and updating healthcare provider and organization records, contacting hospitals and group practices to verify information, and maintaining accurate provider affiliation data.

What You'll Do

• Recruit, train, coach, and retain Data Stewards.
• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
• Assign work and managing resources to meet project deadlines.
• Create and improve processes to ensure high-quality data.
• Audit the quality of work completed by Data Stewards.
• Ensure the team meets productivity and quality targets.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Data Stewardship team.
• Report team progress and key updates to the manager.
• Handle additional data stewardship tasks assigned by management.
  
  

Requirements

• 7+yrs of experience in the relevant domain.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or commercial sector in India.
• Good understanding of the Indian healthcare market.
• Experience leading or supporting a service desk or operations team.
• Experience leading, coaching, or training teams.
• Experience creating or improving processes to increase efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Proficiency in Windows, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other office applications.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Well-organized with high attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to balance productivity and quality targets.
• Ability to motivate teams and meet project deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• Experience as a frontline manager in a pharmaceutical company.
• Experience working with Master Data Management (MDM) systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and data quality standards in the life sciences industry.
• Experience working with data and databases, or a strong interest in data management.
