Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Team Lead, Engineering to oversee our data transformation, machine learning, and AI platform development. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture, Node.js, and Python, combined with a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams.

As the Team Lead, you will be the technical owner of our AI-driven data pipelines, bridging the gap between complex data science initiatives and scalable production environments. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation through LLM-based technologies and maintaining excellence in cloud application design.

• Manage and mentor a dedicated team of data engineering developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

• Oversee the AI platform used for data transformations, including deep learning, supervised learning, and LLM-based solutions.
• Architect and implement data engineering pipelines as a core component of our overall system architecture.
• Drive R&D initiatives to evaluate new AI models and frameworks, specifically within the AWS Bedrock ecosystem.
• Optimize LLM performance by writing, debugging, and refining prompts to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
• Focus on qualitative testing and iterative feature improvements
  
  

• Design and deploy scalable solutions using AWS Services, including DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, SQS, Batch, Sagemaker, Bedrock, ECR, EC2, and Step Functions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistent and automated environment provisioning.
• Ensure API-first architecture and modern cloud application design principles are followed across all projects.
• Provide hands-on guidance in Node.js, Python (Pandas), and React for UI development.
  
  

• Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, qualitative improvements, and data-driven milestones.
• Lead the integration of relational and NoSQL database systems to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Maintain development standards by overseeing PR approvals, merges, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure code stability.
  
  

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in software/data development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing AI or ML-based product teams.
• AI/ML Expertise: Proven experience developing solutions with deep learning, supervised learning, and AWS Bedrock (including AWS Converse).
• Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas), Node.js, and React.
• Cloud Mastery: Extensive experience with AWS Cloud Architecture and serverless technologies.
• Data Systems: Deep understanding of both Relational and NoSQL database system design.
  
  

• Agile Leadership: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.
• DevOps Focus: Experience implementing automated testing for qualitative features and robust CI/CD pipelines.
