About The Role
The Talent and Development Partner is accountable for determining and architecting solutions that enable the desired learning capabilities, delivering in alignment with AstraZeneca’s strategy, roadmap, principles and standards. He/she collaborates with many stakeholders and cross functional teams to deliver on the talent and development goals.
The role will ensure that common talent, learning and development decisions are implemented consistently across the business.
To be successful in this role the candidate needs to be an experienced professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with India and with global teams. The ability to work and communicate with senior business stakeholders to understand their functional goals, capabilities needed, and requirements and to translate these into comprehensive solution blueprints is essential.
A clear, logical style, an ability to document solutions and key design decisions in a blueprint, and to work closely with stakeholders, vendors and cross functional teams is essential. We are looking for an individual who has the strategic intent as well as strong execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
The Talent and Development Partner will play a key role in advancing the delivery of the Talent and Learning Strategy through driving talent reviews, succession planning, key talent programs, building fit for future skills and drive lifelong learning.
This role will partner with the broader T&D team, HRBPs and business learners to meet the needs of the organization. This includes the program management of these initiatives, the evaluation of their impact and implementation of continuous improvements.
There is an opportunity to make a huge difference in this role, working with a diverse group of leaders and talent from various Senior Executive Teams (SET) areas in India. The role will report to the Talent and Development Lead for AstraZeneca, India.
