Strategic Partner Manager YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience in researching consumer trends, competitor strategies and industry developments.
• Experience in media and content strategy, working with creators, publishers or internet based businesses.
• Experience working with mid to C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
• Experience in project management, program management or product management.
• Excellent strategic consultation and analytical skills to work with both senior internal and external stakeholders.

About the job:

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, youll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. Youll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow strong commercial and strategic partnerships, and develop new partnership opportunities.
• Support partners to understand and adopt YouTube products or features to grow their channels and audience.
• Analyze and track metrics to identify trends and highlight issues to ensure performance growth.
• Execute against key distribution and product adoption metrics and recommend improvements internally
• Work with teams across YouTube and cross-functional teams to share partner feedback, resolve business issues and scale opportunities.
