🧾 About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Surgical Gastroenterologist to join reputed corporate hospitals in Mumbai and Surat. The role involves handling complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgical cases, driving surgical excellence, and contributing to the growth of GI surgery services.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced GI surgeries including hepatobiliary, pancreatic, colorectal, and upper GI procedures
• Expertise in laparoscopic and minimally invasive GI surgeries
• Manage complex and high-risk surgical cases independently
• Handle GI oncology cases in coordination with medical and radiation oncology teams
• Lead and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and OT teams
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary discussions
• Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI standards, audits, and clinical governance
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, outcomes, and documentation
  
  

🎓 Qualifications Required

• MBBS + MS (General Surgery)
• MCh / DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology – Mandatory
• Valid registration with NMC / State Medical Council
  
  

💼 Experience

• 8–15+ years post super-specialization
• Proven track record in independently performing complex GI surgeries
• Experience in corporate / tertiary care hospitals preferred
