Sr Motion Graphic And Video Editor

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer & Video Editor who can own video content from concept to final cut.

This role goes beyond editing. You will conceptualise content, develop shoot mood boards, plan and spearhead shoots, provide creative direction on set, shoot content and turn footage into engaging, platform-first videos.

The ideal candidate understands brand storytelling, social media, digital content and performance marketing, with a strong eye for what makes content visually compelling and attention-worthy.

Key Responsibilities

Shoots & Production

• Spearhead brand, product, social and campaign shoots from pre-production to execution.
• Develop shoot concepts, mood boards, shot lists, visual references, and treatments.
• Lead creative direction on set, including framing, lighting, composition, movement, props and overall visual language.
• Shoot high-quality content using professional cameras and mobile-first setups.
• Direct talent, creators, and product-led shoots.
• Coordinate with photographers, production partners, stylists and other external resources.
• Plan shoots efficiently to maximise content output across multiple formats and platforms.
  
  

• Edit Reels, social videos, digital ads, product videos, campaign films, influencer content, event coverage and brand films.
• Create platform-native edits for Instagram, Meta, e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.
• Handle pacing, transitions, typography, music, sound design and colour correction.
• Repurpose footage into multiple edits, durations and aspect ratios.
• Create performance marketing videos with strong hooks, product communication and CTAs.
• Work with UGC and existing footage to create fresh content.
  
  

• Create motion graphics, animated typography, suppers, transitions, and product animations.
• Develop motion-first content for social media and digital campaigns.
• Establish and maintain a consistent motion language for the brand.
  
  

• Translate marketing briefs into strong video concepts and executions.
• Proactively bring content ideas, references, trends, and new formats to the table.
• Own the visual thinking and direction for shoots rather than only executing predefined briefs.
• Recommend the right treatment, format, and editing style based on the content objective.
• Manage multiple shoots and edits while maintaining quality and timelines.
  
  

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in video production, editing, motion design, or branded content.
• Strong portfolio/show reel demonstrating shooting, editing, motion graphics, and creative direction.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Hands-on experience with cameras, lenses, lighting, and production equipment.
• Strong understanding of framing, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Strong understanding of Reels, short-form content, and performance video formats.
• Ability to independently take a brief from mood board → shoot → edit → final output.
• Strong sense of music, pacing, transitions, and storytelling.
• Experience with FMCG, F&B, lifestyle, or consumer brands is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, content-heavy environment.
