Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Team Member supports the business development team in identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities. They play a crucial role in conducting market research, assisting in product development, and supporting various business development activities.
Areas Of Responsibility
Member of the business development and in-licensing team in evaluating potential business opportunities, due diligence, project management till launch and alliance management.
Contribute to in-licensing and out-licensing activities, including contract preparation and documentation
Conduct market research and analysis to gather insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for business case development , due diligence, regulatory filing and tracking progress of assigned project
Contribute to the evaluation of M&A opportunities and support due diligence activities for same
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners and industry influencers
Assist in the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and reports
Stay updated with industry developments and attend relevant conferences and events
Contribute to the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and reports
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to business development activities
Stay updated with industry trends, attend workshops or conferences, and share key findings with the team
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelors degree with MBA from a premium institute. Masters in Lifesciences with MBA (preferred)
Prior experience in pharmaceutical business development, market research, or related roles is a plus (3-4 years experience will be given preference)
Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and market dynamics
Strong analytical and research skills to gather and analyze market data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under deadlines
Enthusiasm for learning and keeping up with industry developments
Basic proficiency with MS Office suite
