Your challenge
As a Database Administrator, you are the go-to person for all database-related challenges within OMP.
You Are Responsible For
Staying up to date with the latest developments in database technology and integrating them into our products.
Keeping our internal Oracle and SQL server systems running in top shape.
Ensuring smooth and solid system performance on our fast-growing Azure cloud.
Assisting our consultants and developers in writing efficient SQL statements.
Your team
As our new Database Administrator, you’ll be part of the Tools and Database team which, in turn, fits into the bigger picture of the Technical Services team. Technical Services equips our teams with the necessary technology, applications, and technical framework for them to do their jobs effectively and securely.
About You
Essential talents and qualifications:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology or a similar field.
Strong motivation to learn new technologies.
Solid experience in writing complex SQL statements and database-stored procedures.
Experience in installing and maintaining customer-hosted SQL servers or Oracle systems, and managing Azure SQL Database services.
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience writing PowerShell.
Knowledge of alternative, non relational database systems.
