Position Summary

Barcode is looking for a Sports Creative Strategist who lives and breathes sport. From last-minute winners and iconic rivalries to creator-led storytelling and social-first campaigns, you'll help shape how brands show up in culture through sport.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop creative strategies and campaign ideas for sports-focused brandsBuild creator and influencer marketing plans around key sporting momentsTrack trends across cricket, football, hockey, and global sporting eventsCreate pitch-winning concepts, content formats, and social activationsCollaborate with brands, creators, and internal teams to bring ideas to lifeIdentify opportunities around tournaments, player moments, fandoms, and communities

Education & Skills

2+ years of experience in sports marketing, sports media, or creative strategyDeep knowledge of cricket, football, and hockey ecosystemsStrong understanding of players, teams, leagues, rivalries, and historic momentsPassion for social media, creator marketing, and fan cultureExcellent storytelling, presentation, and ideation skillsAbility to turn sporting insights into culturally relevant brand campaigns
