Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated Junior SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of SAP Basis administration and a desire to grow their skills in a dynamic environment. You will assist in maintaining and supporting SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Support system upgrades and patch management.
• Collaborate with senior team members to implement SAP solutions and enhancements.
• Assist in user administration, security configuration, and transport management.
• Document processes and procedures related to SAP Basis administration.
• Participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of SAP Basis concepts and components.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Windows) and databases (Oracle, HANA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP HANA and cloud environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and backup/recovery strategies.
• Experience with monitoring tools and system performance analysis.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Information Security policies, guidelines and procedure, practice them for protection of organizational data and Information System.
• Take part in information security training and act while handling information.
• Report all suspected security and policy breach to InfoSec team or appropriate authority (CISO).
• Understand and adhere to the additional information security responsibilities as part of the assigned job role.
