Specialist Data And Analytics Focus SAP Technology

What you will do

Job Purpose:

As an expert in Data & Analytics focusing on SAP technology, the job owner will be responsible for the smooth operation and continuous development of our Data & Analytics platforms (SAP BW, Azure, Snowflake). The focus is on ensuring stable data flows, maintaining high service levels in incident and service management, and continuously optimizing and governing our existing solutions.

• Operational 3rd-Level Support & Ticket Management provide technical support for issues related to reports, dashboards, and AI-related topics with a strong focus on SAP.
• Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLA timelines and monitor performance through ticket-handling KPIs.
• Monitor Data Supply Processes Oversee the daily status of data supply processes across SAP, SAP BW, and Snowflake (via Azure Data Factory). These processes are managed by an external service provider. Regularly review status messages to identify and address major disruptions or service quality issues.
• Optimize and Enhance Existing Solutions Continuously improve the performance, stability, and cost efficiency of existing data solutions in line with internal support priorities.
• Data Quality, Governance & Documentation Ensure data accuracy and consistency by adhering to data governance standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, processes, and system architecture.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with internal stakeholders, business analysts, and IT teams to understand requirements, align priorities, and ensure stable operations that support business needs.
  
  
  

What you will need

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology formation Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Fluent command of English

Technical qualifications:

> 5 years of experience in an IT support function with strong focus on SAP Reporting & Dashboarding – SAC planning is a plus

In-depth expertise with SAP based Data Warehouse solutions using HANA databases, including SAP BW & Datasphere, Azure Data Factory – SQL-based Data Warehouse systems is a plus.

• Proficiency regarding SAP BI frontend tools for reporting and planning, especially SAP AfO & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
  
  
  

Hands-on programming experience in data warehouse environments, including data modeling, SQL development, and performance optimization - proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript is a plus.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work in unfamiliar domains and quickly understand issues reported by users.
