Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester with 3-5 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in modern testing tools such as Sauce Labs and visual testing frameworks. Experience in API testing, database validation, and performance/load testing is essential. Certifications like ISTQB or CSTE will be an added advantage. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, be a strong team player, and adaptable to different project methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong analytical skills to thoroughly understand assigned requirements, design and develop comprehensive test cases, and efficiently execute them for both functional and regression testing, with a keen ability to identify defects and ensure their resolution.
• Perform manual and automated testing using tools like Sauce Labs and visual testing tools.
• Conduct API and database testing to validate backend functionality and data integrity.
• Carry out performance and load testing to assess system stability and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with developers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and accurately.
• Work within Agile and Waterfall methodologies as per project requirements.
• Support the team and organization by being flexible and proactive in taking up varied responsibilities.
  

Qualifications And Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing – both manual and automation.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Sauce Labs, Selenium, and visual testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of API and database testing.
• Experience in performance and load testing tools.
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers and other stakeholders.
