Software Engineer - DevOps

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS and Azure
• Implement high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies
• Manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform CloudFormation
• Optimize cloud costs using FinOps best practices
  
  

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
• Azure DevOps
• GitHub Actions
• GitLab CI
• Jenkins
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows
• Improve deployment frequency and reduce MTTR
  
  

Containers & Orchestration

• Containerize applications using Docker
• Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes (AKS / EKS)
• Configure Helm charts for application deployment
• Manage container security and image scanning
  
  

Monitoring, Logging & AIOps

• Set up monitoring and alerting using:
• Azure Monitor
• Prometheus & Grafana
• ELK / EFK Stack
• Implement AI-driven monitoring & anomaly detection (AIOps)
• Use predictive alerts and automated remediation where possible
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews
  
  

Security & Compliance (DevSecOps)

• Implement DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines
• Manage secrets using Azure Key Vault / AWS Secrets Manager
• Perform vulnerability scanning and security audits
• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR – as applicable)
  
  

Scripting & Automation

• Write automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, patching, and scaling
• Build self-healing systems using event-driven automation
  
  

AI & Modern DevOps Practices

• Use AI tools for log analysis, performance optimization, and incident prediction
• Integrate ChatOps (Slack / Teams bots) for deployments and alerts
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for:
• Cost optimization
• Security anomaly detection
• Capacity planning
  
  

Collaboration & Ownership

• Work closely with developers, QA, security, and product teams
• Participate in architecture discussions and solution design
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Strong scripting skills (Python / Bash)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
  
  

Good-to-Have (Highly Preferred)

• Experience with AIOps or AI-based monitoring tools
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Exposure to serverless (AWS Lambda / Azure Functions)
• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD / Flux)
• Knowledge of FinOps and cost governance
• Experience in high-traffic / enterprise-scale systems
