About Us

We are a social-impact foundation working to improve financial literacy among women from low- and middle-income households in India. We run a digital financial education programme that reaches over a million women through video, social media, and an AI-based assistant — delivered in partnership with NGOs and government missions.

About The Role

We reach over a million women today. The next step is to turn that audience into a living community — women who take part, come back, learn from one another, and start using our tools and acting on what they learn. This role owns that journey.

You will do two things that go together. You will grow our reach — running our social media and both organic and paid campaigns to bring more women in. And you will build depth — turning that reach into a real community on WhatsApp and across our channels, where women stay, take part, and belong.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is genuinely creative about campaigns and collaborations, and who also knows how social media actually works — how to run ads, read the numbers, and improve. We are not looking for ideas alone; we are looking for someone who can have the idea and then make it perform. You will have a team to help you execute, but as the manager you own the outcome and stay close to the work.

What You'll Do

Social media and campaigns

  • Own the day-to-day running of our social media across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp — the content calendar, posting, and how we respond to our audience.
  • Plan and run organic and paid campaigns to reach more women from low-income households, and manage the ad budget to get the most from every rupee.
  • Come up with fresh campaign ideas and collaborations — and see them through to real results, not just concepts.
  • Work with the content team on what gets made, and own how it reaches women and how they engage with it.

Community building and engagement

  • Design and run the things that make women take part and come back — WhatsApp groups, our community programme, peer-to-peer interaction, challenges, live sessions, and user-generated content.
  • Build a sense of belonging so women help one another, not just receive from us — and spot and nurture active women who bring others in.
  • Move women along the journey: from watching, to taking part, to using our tools and acting on what they learn.

Measurement and insight

  • Own our social media and engagement dashboard. Track what matters — reach, engagement, growth, retention, cost per woman reached — and use it to decide what to do more and less of.
  • Report clearly on reach and community health to the Programme Director and partners.

Working across the programme

  • Surface the opportunities our research team finds — schemes, trainings, exhibitions — to the community so women can act on them.
  • Carry what the community tells us back to the content, product, and research teams, so the community stays connected to the rest of the programme.

Team

  • Manage and mentor your team, set clear priorities, and make sure work ships on time and well.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partner organisations, and external agencies or freelancers as needed.

Who We're Looking For

Must have

  • Experience: 6+ years in digital marketing, social media, or community management — with hands-on experience running paid campaigns, not just briefing them out.
  • Results: A track record of growing an audience and of building and nurturing communities, with real numbers to show for it.
  • Platforms: Practical, hands-on command of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, and of social media analytics and advertising tools.
  • Both sides: Creative enough to come up with campaign ideas, disciplined enough to test, measure, and improve them.
  • Language & education: Fluency in Hindi. A bachelor's or master's in a relevant field (marketing, communications, media, social sciences, or similar).

Nice to have

  • Experience running public service announcement (PSA) or awareness campaigns.
  • Experience in — and a real understanding of — the social-impact space.
  • Proficiency in Marathi or another regional language.

You'll fit well if you

  • Have a genuine feel for our audience — women from low-income households — and the empathy to build a community they trust.
  • Can plan, prioritise, and juggle several pieces of work and a team at once.
  • Are a self-starter who can run the function with limited oversight and take ownership.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and in person, including with teams and partners.

How To Apply

Share your CV and a short cover letter. In your cover letter, tell us about one campaign or community you grew and the numbers behind it.

This description conveys the scope of the role. It is not an exhaustive list of qualifications, skills, duties, or responsibilities.
