About The Team
Network Support Services (NSS) team is responsible for creating automation to improve manual processes and speed up the delivery of requests, with a strong focus on ServiceNows ITSM and Request modules. Our goal is to provide the best user experience to the NSS engineers and our internal clients..
What You Will Be Doing
Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions with a primary focus on the ITSM and Request modules to streamline and optimize IT service management processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes, including integrations with Resolve automation platform
Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows within ServiceNow to automate routine ITSM tasks, such as catalogue items, workflows, and scripts
Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices within the ServiceNow environment
Monitor and analyze ITSM performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement automation solutions to enhance service reliability and efficiency
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in ServiceNow and ITSM, and incorporate them into the development process
Identify opportunities to improve workflow and create supporting documentation for review by peers and management
Troubleshoot and resolve complex ITSM issues by leveraging ServiceNow tools and techniques to minimize downtime and improve overall service performance
Utilize case management system (CMS) to document status updates and problem resolutions within ServiceNow
Perform customer service duties and respond to customer requests as defined by management
Maintain ITSM services documentation related to work area within ServiceNow
Will be working in 2pm to 11 pm IST Shifts
What You Bring
2 to 4 Years of experience in ServiceNow and its ITSM and Request modules, as well as integration capabilities with other platforms, particularly Resolve Systems
Proficient in JavaScript development and experienced with ServiceNows CMDB
Proficiency in scripting and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and their application within ServiceNow
Experience with IT service management protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP)
Familiarity with IT hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, as they relate to ServiceNow integrations
Experience with REST and SOAP APIs for integrating and automating IT services within ServiceNow
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex ITSM issues within ServiceNow
Strong analytical skills to interpret ITSM performance data and identify optimization opportunities within ServiceNow
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in ServiceNow and ITSM
