As part of our rapidly growing Sustainability Strategy team, you will work with industry-leading organizations to design and implement sustainability programs that drive business resilience, regulatory compliance, investor confidence, and long-term value creation.

Role Overview

The Sustainability Strategy Advisory will be responsible for selling advisory services and strategic client engagement across Schneider Electric's sustainability consulting portfolio. This role focuses on helping organizations develop and execute climate and sustainability strategies, including GHG emissions management, Net Zero pathways, climate risk assessments, sustainability reporting, and stakeholder disclosures.

The ideal candidate combines strong sustainability domain expertise with a consultative sales mindset and the ability to engage senior business leaders on strategic transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Business Growth & Executive Client Engagement

Lead strategic sales engagements with CXOs, CFOs, CSOs, Sustainability Leaders, Investor Relations, and Risk Management teams to identify, shape, and win sustainability transformation opportunities across diverse industries.

  • Develop Sustainability & Climate Transformation Opportunities

Advise clients on sustainability strategy, GHG emissions accounting, Science-Based Targets (SBTi), RE100 roadmaps, climate risk and resilience, ESG frameworks, and sustainability reporting requirements. Translate evolving regulations, stakeholder expectations, and market trends into compelling business cases and consulting engagements.

  • Lead End-to-End Advisory Sales Execution

Own the complete opportunity lifecycle—from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, value articulation, commercial negotiations, and contract closure. Partner closely with consulting and delivery teams to ensure successful client outcomes and long-term strategic relationships.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in sustainability consulting, climate advisory, ESG strategy, decarbonization, corporate sustainability, or related professional services, with a demonstrated track record of business development and revenue growth.
  • Deep expertise in sustainability and climate frameworks, including GHG Protocol, Scope 1-2-3 emissions accounting, SBTi target setting, RE100, CDP, GRI, ISSB, TCFD, BRSR, climate risk assessments, Net Zero strategy, and sustainability reporting etc.
  • Strong executive presence and commercial acumen, with the ability to engage senior leadership, develop strategic business cases, influence sustainability transformation agendas, and lead complex consulting sales pursuits.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Climate Change, Engineering, Energy Management, Business, Economics, or a related discipline from a reputed institution.
