Job Description: Senior Project Manager - Data Center

Position: Senior Project Manager - Data Center (DC)
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-Roll)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Data Center to lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale Data Center and Mission Critical Infrastructure projects. The incumbent will be responsible for project planning, execution, stakeholder management, commercial oversight, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and successful project delivery while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complete lifecycle management of Data Center projects from design coordination through commissioning and handover.
  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource deployment strategies.
  • Manage project delivery for critical infrastructure systems including HVAC, Cooling Systems, Electrical Systems, UPS, DG, IBMS/BMS, Fire Alarm, and ELV systems.
  • Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines, and profitability targets.
  • Lead project review meetings and provide management updates on project status, financials, and risks.
  • Manage subcontractors, site teams, procurement activities, and vendor performance.
  • Drive testing, commissioning, integrated system testing, and final handover activities.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Oversee change management, variation orders, claims, billing milestones, and collections.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
  • PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
  • MBA or Project Management certification will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • 12-18 years of experience in project execution and project management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale Data Center or Mission Critical projects.
  • Proven experience handling projects with multiple stakeholders and complex technical infrastructure.
