As a Senior Product Delivery Associate in Business Rules, Collections, you are trusted with enabling the delivery of products in a stable and scalable way. Work with cross-function teams, build key relationships, and enable the product to continuously deliver value. You’ll lead collaboration with business and technology partners to design, build, test, implement, and optimize business rules that drive our strategies forward. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail will position you as a key driver of effective and adaptable solutions, taking initiative to ensure continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to execute on key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficiencies
  • Supports the completion of change management activities across functional partners and monitors adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Raises blockers and other impediments to the Product Delivery Manager to manage dependencies and ensure adequate resources
  • Leads the design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of integrated business rule solutions using tools such as IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM), ensuring alignment with complex product strategies and organizational objectives.
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across prioritized business domain areas, maintaining awareness of upstream and downstream interfaces, integrating business rule strategies to support overarching business functions, and continuously expanding domain knowledge to drive delivery excellence and elevate team performance.
  • Translates business requirements into functional specifications that promote strong design patterns and scalable solutions, proactively partnering with technology teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive unit and functional testing strategies for changes of high complexity, ensuring robust validation of business rule changes and defect-free implementations.
  • Maintains thorough, accurate documentation for business rules, requirements, impact assessments, and test plans, demonstrating deep domain expertise and supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Identifies, proactively escalates, and leads the resolution of defects or issues discovered during testing and peer reviews, driving effective solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Conducts in-depth analysis of existing strategies and processes, leading initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and speed-to-market, and implementing best practices across the team.
  • Builds strong, lasting relationships with business partners, IT teams, and stakeholders, representing the team and ensuring alignment for successful delivery of complex product initiatives.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated performance in either product management or relevant domain area
  • Experience executing operational management and change readiness activities
  • Experience in product deployment processes
  • Conducts thorough and cohesive analysis on complex business and technical challenges, leveraging deep domain expertise to navigate and synthesize insights across multiple interacting systems.
  • Quickly learns and applies new information and technologies, using expertise to implement improvements that support the team’s long-term success and adaptability.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, proactively expanding expertise and making impactful, independent contributions to high-priority initiatives.
  • Leads efforts to identify root causes of complex issues, develops lasting solutions, and collaborates across teams to drive effective, sustainable resolutions.
  • Maintains exceptional organization and self-motivation, proactively acquiring and applying knowledge to enhance business and technical processes across broader domain areas.
  • Communicates complex concepts with clarity and influence, tailoring messaging for diverse audiences and representing the team in areas of ownership and expertise.
  • Demonstrates strong proficiency of business requirements management and the software development lifecycle, has proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and SharePoint

  • Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Previous collections or credit card industry experience
  • Proficiency with SQL, Oracle, SAS or another programming language
