Role Purpose
This role plays a critical role in further evolving our Controlling function and in enabling data-driven, forward-looking steering of the Group. The role reports directly into our Head Group Financial Controlling and will also work closely with our Head of Strategic Finance & Group Controlling based in Switzerland and stakeholders globally.
Key Responsibilities
Own and continuously enhance global BI dashboards and data models used for management steering across regions, functions, and service lines
Translate financial data into clear insights, narratives, and visualizations for regional and functional stakeholders to enable effective decision-making
Deliver key controlling activities across planning (budgeting and forecasting), cost management, revenue recognition, project controlling, CAPEX, ad‑hoc reporting, automation, and financial analysis
Act as custodian of data across reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency in planning and reporting tools
Actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes within the reporting tools
Conduct detailed engagement profitability analyses to support strategic decision‑making
Serve as the primary point of contact for dashboard- related communications with stakeholders
Act as a backup for team members to maintain dashboards and reports during their absence
Lead and support change initiatives aimed at strengthening insight generation and reporting capabilities
Contribute to ad‑hoc management reports for the CFO, Group Executive Board (GEB), and Board of Directors (BoD)
Partner closely with Strategic Finance & Group Controlling, Accounting, the CFO, and local project managers to provide financial insights and business support
Requirements
CA/ICWA/MBA qualification (or equivalent degree in Finance & Accounting) with strong proficiency in Excel and BI tools
Must have proven expertise in global accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), financial consolidation and experience in month-end/year-end close and strategic financial planning
Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in Controlling or Financial BI within a global environment; exposure to the professional services industry is an advantage
Proven experience in building and operating global steering and management reporting solutions
Strong understanding of financial KPIs, performance drivers, and management reporting concepts
Strong command of ERP systems and reporting, analysis, and planning tools (preferably Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Jedox, SAP ByDesign), along with advanced Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational capabilities
Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to perform at a high level in dynamic and fast‑paced environments
Proactive, independent working style with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Collaborate as a strong team player to advance Controlling initiatives
Genuine interest in developing a more strategic, business‑oriented approach to Finance
