About The Role

The role assists in Financial Planning and analysis for the global business of GCPL. It involves both short term and long-term forecasting including the preparation of Annual Operating Plan, Variance Analysis, Pricing for new launches in offshore geography, Global Profitability Analysis and Special Automation Projects.

The role has day-to-day interactions with stakeholders from Sales/Marketing, Supply Chain/Procurement functions which become both a customer and supplier for the person responsible for the role.

Key Responsibilities

P&L and MIS Preparation and Automation :

• Preparation of Monthly MIS dashboards
• Delivering ad-hoc data requests from management or cross functional teams
• Preparation of short-term forecast P&Ls basis inputs from different teams and market scenarios
• Formulation of AOP, zero based costing. Receipt of input from Sales, Supply Chain, Factories and aligning plans with relevant stakeholders and Goal-setting process
• Variance analysis vs plans
• Assist in the automation projects along with the IT team (Anaplan implementation, GenAI etc.)
• Simulation on profitability scenarios and replacement pricing
• Formulating long range and strategic plans
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices in financial modeling and analysis
  
  

Business Innovation Support

• Handling business case accounting and advance analytics of each line items of P/L for all innovations
• Support on NPDs, Pricing, What if scenario, shadow costing and Adhoc MIS
• Monthly innovation profitability Dashboards, analysis of gaps, regional profitability
  
  

Who are we looking for?

Education

• MBA in Finance or CA – Inter.
  
  

Experience

• Relevant years of experience in FP&A or similar role
• Ability to handle automation projects
• FMCG experience is a definite plus
  
  

Skills

• Good communication skills/presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
