Role: Data Analyst – Management Information

Location: India

A little bit about the role:

We are seeking a Management Information Data Analyst with advanced AI skills who can utilize machine learning models to optimize SQL query development and dataset management. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in data visualization tools such as ZOHO and Power BI, with a proven ability to create compelling reports and dashboards according to specific requirements. This role requires a strong aptitude for interrogating and validating data, working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure data integrity.

As a subject matter expert, you will propose innovative methods for presenting key metrics to stakeholders, ensuring clear and impactful communication of data-driven insights. You should have excellent verbal and written English skills to facilitate client interactions as needed. Additionally, you will support teams by preparing PowerPoint presentations for monthly MI reports, Quarterly Business Reviews, and handling various ad hoc reporting requests.

What youll be doing:

  • Design and execute custom SQL queries to resolve complex data inquiries and integrate AI into daily business operations.
  • Develop reports and management information (MI) dashboards that adhere to project briefs and client key performance indicators (KPIs), utilizing tools such as PowerPoint, ZOHO Analytics, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Collaborate with the account team to ensure data integrity and maintain accurate MI data.
  • Apply best practices to guarantee complete data capture for effective KPI measurement.
  • Analyse and present data to fulfil stakeholder requirements, ensuring insights are clear and actionable.
  • Understand and collaborate with clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Attain proficiency in Olivers proprietary tools, including OMG and the AI Sandbox.
  • Grasp diverse client business models to improve the relevance and quality of provided reports.
  • Manage and maintain the client-facing dashboard on a daily basis.
  • Conduct data impact analysis to assess changes and their implications.
  • Set up and deliver weekly and monthly reports and MI packs.
  • Oversee data hygiene management to ensure data cleanliness and track any issues.

What youll need:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in client-facing roles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Competence in understanding requests and delivering insightful reports.
  • Experience in handling large and complex datasets.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas (such as VLOOKUPs and nested IF statements), and proficiency with Power Query and Python for Excel.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like ZOHO and Power BI.
  • Competency in SQL and Python programming languages.
  • Proficiency in utilizing AI technologies and various large language models (LLMs) to enhance role efficiency.
  • Experience in agency and marketing environments is an advantage.
  • Confidence in engaging effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
