Senior Java Developer

Experience

5–10 years of professional experience in Java backend development and enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications for WinfoTest.

Build robust and scalable backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with front-end applications and third-party systems.

Work with Oracle/MySQL databases to design and optimise queries.

Ensure application performance, security, and reliability for large-scale test automation workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.

Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks in test execution pipelines.

Primary Skills

Java & Spring Boot (5–7 years).

Event-Driven Systems (Kafka or similar) – 3–5 years.

API Development – 3–5 years.

Deep understanding of multithreading and concurrency in Java.

Experience with Spring Security and Spring Data JPA.

Strong knowledge of design patterns and microservices architecture.

Proficiency in unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito).

Secondary Skills

Front-end exposure to Angular or React.

Familiarity with Oracle/MySQL databases.

Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, Azure).

Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).

Exposure to API Gateway and service mesh concepts.

Knowledge of performance tuning for JVM-based applications.

Testing tools: JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, Playwright.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work in Agile environments and lead technical discussions.
