Senior Consultant Mumbai

As a Senior Consultant at Business Sweden, you will be part of our newest and rapidly growing office in Mumbai, complementing our teams in New Delhi and Bangalore. You will join a high-performing team with backgrounds in strategy consulting and M&A, working at the intersection of Swedish and Indian business communities.

The role is based in Mumbai, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world, as required.

The role includes both strategic, tactic and operational responsibilities such as:

• Represent Business Sweden as a trusted advisor, finding solutions to our clients’ most pressing challenges
• Lead teams and work close to our clients
• Responsible for building strong client relationships, scope assignments, and drive project delivery ensuring well-grounded insights are easily communicated to clients.
• Easily navigate both business promotion and strategic consulting assignments for clients ranging from small to large.
• Proactively work with sales including initiation, driving dialogues, together with the team developing a solid pipeline for the office.

Formal requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is considered an advantage)
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience from a consultancy firm or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous questions, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, and translate findings into clear recommendations. Excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel are expected. Experience managing projects, developing client relationships and contributing to business development is highly valued.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required. Proficiency in Hindi and/or another Indian language is considered an advantage.
• Experience working across different cultures or markets, particularly in an international or Nordic-Indian context.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold Indian citizenship or possess a valid work permit for India.
