Senior Accountant

Full time, Mumbai, India

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing monthly journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts monthly, and conducting necessary account analysis and research. You will prepare balance sheet reconciliation accurately and timely. You will also arrange journal entries to record inter-company charges, depreciation and amortization, and bills / reconciles inter-company accounts monthly and corrects variances.

As a Senior Accountant, you will

• Support Accounting department budget targets
• Complete timely, clear, and accurate account reconciliations
• Ensure accurate journal entries are processed monthly
• Ensure month end checklist items are processed timely and accurately
• Support the interim and year end financial audits
• Continuously work to streamline and automate reconciliation process
  
  

About You

• You have a 3-4 years of month-end closing and general accounting experience
• You have TDS calculation and SAP knowledge
• You have experience with handling audits
• Proficiency with ERPs, word processing, and spreadsheets (MS Excel) required
• Bachelor degree in accounting / finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
