Role Overview

As an SAP MM Consultant based in Mumbai, you will serve as a pivotal functional expert responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing procurement and inventory management processes within the SAP S/4 HANA environment.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams and key business stakeholders to translate complex operational requirements into scalable technical solutions. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of supply chain operations, ensuring that clients achieve seamless integration between material management, finance, and production modules to drive better business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure SAP MM modules to align with specific business procurement cycles, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and streamlined vendor management for clients.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4 HANA projects by managing business blueprinting, gap analysis, and system configuration to meet evolving enterprise needs.
• Provide expert functional support to end-users by troubleshooting complex system issues and optimizing existing workflows to enhance operational productivity.
• Develop comprehensive functional specifications for custom developments and reports, ensuring technical teams deliver solutions that meet rigorous business standards.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for stakeholders to ensure high user adoption and effective utilization of SAP procurement functionalities.
  
  

• Possess 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM functional consulting, with a proven track record of successful project delivery in an S/4 HANA environment.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in procurement processes, including purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, and master data management.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex business requirements and provide effective, scalable system solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders to foster collaboration and project alignment.
• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new SAP technologies, ensuring the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, on-site professional environment in Mumbai.
