Sales Manager – PSU/BFSI Software Sales
Locations: Mumbai , Delhi / NCR
Experience: 5 – 7 years (Minimum 5 years mandatory)

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – PSU/BFSI with strong expertise in application and technology solution sales within PSU Banks, BFSI institutions, and public sector organizations. The role involves managing the complete sales lifecycle, driving revenue growth, and building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders across the PSU/BFSI ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive sales of software applications, digital solutions, and technology services across PSU Banks, BFSI institutions, and other public sector organizations. Own and consistently achieve assigned revenue targets within the PSU/BFSI segment.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in:
Digital Ban
king Application Development & Modernization AI / ML solutions Cloud services Data Analytics Compliance solutions (AML, KYC, Fraud Detection)
Account Management & Relationship Building
Build and maintain strong relationships with:
CXOs Senior business stakeholders IT heads Procurement and vendor management teams Execute account mining and farming strategies to grow existing PSU/BFSI accounts. Maintain high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and long-term account growth.
Sales Lifecycle Management
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including :Lead generation and qualification RFP/RFI analysis and response Proposal and bid submission Pricing, negotiation, and deal closure
Handle long sales cycles and complex deal structures typical of PSU and BFSI organizations .
PSU Procurement & ComplianceNavigate government procurement processes,
including :
GeM portal
PSU tenders Contracting and empanelment
frameworks
Ensure solutions align with regulatory and compliance requirements such as:
RBI ,SEBI ,IRDAI ,
guidelines Internal Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to craft customized, value-driven solutions.
Drive consultative selling by understanding business challenges and proposing outcome-based solutions.
Manage and track sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to leadership.
Deliver strong presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in
IT, Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Or a related field.
