Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quant Analyst to join our Derivatives Trading team. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual who will support the firm to automate investment processes, ensure the efficiency of system and develop new investment tools. The candidate will analyze market data, especially crypto derivative market data and use these tools to develop new quantitative strategies and optimize existing ones. This role involves working with financial data, particularly derivatives and cryptocurrencies, to develop trading tools and strategies, automate investment processes and find market insights.

Your AMINA To-Do List

• Back-test multi asset class strategies on global markets by leveraging the firms existing platform
• Analyze crypto derivatives and other market data, to generate insights and support product development
• Develop and automate investment processes via Python, R and MATLAB
• Create powerful presentations and reports to communicate complex analyses to various audiences
• Develop tools to integrate investment decision systems with risk management systems
• Maintain and document analytical tools, ensuring efficiency and scalability
• Track global financial markets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Work closely with trading and other internal teams to optimize existing tools and develop new analytical frameworks
• Build and maintain libraries and code base which can be integrated into the overall platform
• Document code functionalities, new functions and processes added to the existing database
  
  

Your Golden Ticket To The AMINA Team

• Experience 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in finance, trading, or investment-related fields.
• Must have demonstrated programming experience with Python, R and Excel-VBA. Experience in working / creating customized Python and MATLAB librarie . Min. 2 years of Python experience mandatory
• Experience with derivatives and financial products such as options, futures, and FX swaps
• Experienced in quantitative back-testing in asset classes, stocks , futures and options
• Team player with a high-energy approach, thriving in a professional and demanding environment.
• Thorough with complex financial concepts, performance and risk calculations
• Keen observer of global financial markets and financial history
• Passion for cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
• Should be self-driven and detail oriented with an analytical mindset
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly. A track record of developing creative and innovative solutions would be highly appreciated
• Experience with data visualization tools and financial modeling . Familiarity with Bloomberg or other market data platforms
